Juno Downloads is kinda a compromise between the two, not as great for browsing as Beatport but also not as glitchy/slow and better than Bandcamp. I personally find Beatport the best for digging, though its browsing can be slow and has weird compatibility issues with some browsers (though some people swear by Crates as an alternative front-end for browsing through Beatport). However it's difficult to browse around through and it's not so nice for digging.

That can be useful if you're new and don't have much of a library to speak of, or if you're using it as a backup for random weird requests you don't happen to have, but I would highly advise against relying on those kinds of services for gigging and instead look at building your own download library to work off of.īandcamp is probably the best option out there - it's cheaper than most and better for artists. Serato does offer integration with a few streaming services, but those options are limited - you can't internally record off streaming services (like Tidal, Soundcloud, Beatport, Beatsource) and you need to subscribe to the services in order to be able to use them properly. "Converters" are a horrible idea because those very often will be transcoding lossy file formats to other lossy file formats and you can lose a lot of sound quality that way. Those are all sites that sell tracks for download.
